Your privacy

I'm Brandon, owner of Phone-Fix.com Gadget Repair. I handle privacy questions at [email protected].

Contact and repair records

Contact messages go to the shop's email inbox. Quote requests send your contact information, preferred contact method and device/repair details to MyRepairApp, the system I use for customer, quote and repair records. Please don't send device passwords or payment details through website forms.

I keep customer emails and MyRepairApp customer, quote and repair records indefinitely, without scheduled deletion. I contact customers only in response to requested information or service, with no unsolicited marketing. Choosing text as a contact preference does not itself send a text message.

I don't sell customer information or share it for third-party marketing. Service providers process information to help operate the business.

Private feedback

Written feedback and any optional name or email are saved in an owner-only inbox, not automatically published. Email notifications contain an inbox link, without your message or contact details.

The website is configured to delete inbox entries older than 90 days through daily cleanup. Cleanup can take longer if scheduling is interrupted. I can also delete entries from the inbox. Separate receipts that prevent duplicate submissions contain no feedback message or contact fields and have no scheduled deletion. The thumbs choices are not saved as votes.

Private repair updates

Repair lookup uses your ticket number and the last name recorded at check-in. A match can show customer contact details, device names and serial numbers, repair statuses, recorded charges and invoice-visible notes. Keep those lookup details private.

The encrypted result is tied to your browser session and expires after five minutes. Close removes that browser's lookup records. Expired records are scheduled for hourly cleanup; expiry prevents access even if cleanup is delayed. These short-lived results are separate from the repair records kept in MyRepairApp.

Cookies and website services

A session cookie keeps forms, sign-in and private repair updates working. A security cookie helps prevent forged form submissions. These cookies expire after about two hours, refreshed as you use the site. Session records also include IP address and browser information.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so can interrupt forms, sign-in and private repair updates.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled for visitors in all regions on eligible Home, About and service pages to measure visits and website performance. It is configured to exclude Contact, Quote, Feedback, repair-status, login/admin, Privacy, Website Terms and error pages, and marketing URLs with query parameters. Cloudflare says this analytics service does not use cookies or identify visitors through browser fingerprinting.

Hosting, security and email providers process website requests and communications, which can include IP addresses and browser information. Google Maps, Google reviews and booking links take you to separate services with their own privacy practices.

Questions and deletion requests

Email me at [email protected]. I review deletion requests and delete information where practical, while keeping records needed for repairs, warranties, accounting or other obligations. This does not guarantee removal of every copy, including provider logs or backups.
